Accessibility

Hopper Insurance Services, Inc.

Statement dated September 2, 2026.

Most of the people who use this website are making Medicare decisions, and many of them use larger text, a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or a phone. Hopper Insurance Services, Inc. is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and to meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we have done

  • Every page is built from the same template with proper landmarks (a skip link, header, navigation, main content, and footer), so assistive technology can move around it predictably.
  • Headings are in order, links say where they go, images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • Every control can be reached and operated from the keyboard, and the keyboard focus is always visible.
  • Text and background colors were measured, not guessed, and meet the contrast ratio WCAG requires for normal text. Text can be enlarged in the browser without anything breaking.
  • Every form field has a visible label. Errors are announced, and the field that needs attention receives focus and describes the problem.
  • The site loads no third-party widgets, chat boxes, overlays, or pop-ups, which are the things that most often get in the way of assistive technology.
  • Automated accessibility checks run against every page each time the site is built, and a page that fails them is not published.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any part of the site that cannot be used with assistive technology. Websites we link to, including Medicare.gov, the Social Security Administration, Covered California, and insurance carriers, are outside our control, and we cannot vouch for their accessibility. If you have trouble with one of them, call us and we will help you get the same thing done another way.

If something is hard to use

Tell us. We would rather fix it than have you struggle with it. Anything you can do on this website you can also do by telephone, and we are glad to take your details, answer your questions, read you any page, or send information in a format that works for you, including large print.

When you write, tell us the page you were on and what you were trying to do, and, if you can, the browser and any assistive technology you use. We will respond within a few business days and will tell you what we changed.

Technical notes

The site is written in standard HTML and CSS with a small amount of JavaScript, and every page works without JavaScript. It is designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and with the screen readers built into those platforms. This statement is reviewed whenever the site changes materially.
